Instant Gulab Jamun Recipe

Gulab Jamun is a classic Indian dessert that’s loved by everyone. Its soft, spongy, and melt-in-the-mouth texture, combined with the sweet syrup, makes it a perfect treat for any occasion. The best part? You can now make this delightful dessert instantly with ready-made mix available at Kitchen Affairs. Here’s a simple recipe to make instant Gulab Jamun at home.

Ingredients:

  • 1 packet of Instant Gulab Jamun Mix (available at Kitchen Affairs)
  • 1 cup milk (adjust as needed)
  • Ghee or oil for frying

For Sugar Syrup:

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  • A few saffron strands (optional)
  • 1 tsp rose water or a few drops of rose essence

Instructions:

1. Add 130ml-150ml water to 200g Gulab Jamun Mix and knead slowly keep aside for 5 minutes. After that make soft dough.

2. Grease your palm with ghee & then shape round balls without cracks, from the dough.

3.Pour sufficient ghee in pan & heat so that balls do not touch the bottom of pan at the time of frying. Fry 1 ball till it comes at the top, remove the pan from gas and now drop more balls according to space in pan. Slowly-Slowly rotate the balls by big spoon till they become big. Ones again put pan on the gas till balls become golden.

4. Dip the fried balls into the hot sugar syrup for 30 minutes till good penetration of syrup inside.

Direction for Sugar Syrup: Prepare syrup by dissolving 700g sugar in 750ml water. Boil and simmer for 5 minutes.

Tips:

Add a few strands of saffron and cardamom to the sugar syrup.
